This is our regular monthly meeting during which we take care of any needed business, hear from candidates, and plan for elections and other upcoming activities. All interested Democrats are welcome.

What we do

Our goals are to recruit quality candidates to run as Democrats, and do everything we can to get them elected. To that end, we host or participate in many different activities:

Candidate recruitment

Public candidate forums and debates

Parades and village festivals

Door-to-door canvassing

Phone-banking

Voter registration drives

Community service

Fundraisers (for ourselves or for candidates)

Issues-based forums or presentations

Letter-writing campaigns

Neighborhood candidate receptions

The monthly meeting of the York Democrats is the first Wednesday of most months, at Lombard Park District's Log Cabin. The park entrance is at 16th Street and Main in Lombard, south of Roosevelt and north of 22nd. Light refreshments are provided.
