The Electoral College is a puzzling system that often has people scratching their heads about how it works and why we use it. More and more Americans are questioning this system and would like to see it replaced. Join us for a brief history of the Electoral College, a discussion of its impact on our democracy, and how to change it to directly elect our President. Our guest speakers will be issues specialists from the state League of Women Voters: Peggy Pissarreck from LWV Arlington Heights and Joyce Williams from LWV LaGrange.
