Meet Jennifer Zordani, Democrat for Illinois State House, and all 6 Democratic judicial candidates vying for four spaces on the November ballot!
One month to go until the March 17th Democratic primary! This month, it is time to meet Jennifer Zordani, Democrat for State House District 47, and the six Democratic judicial candidates vying for four spaces on the November ballot.
First, whipsmart attorney and activist Jennifer Zordani will share her passion for bringing more accessible healthcare, strong public education, and financial reform in Springfield.
Next up will be P4C's much anticipated judicial forum. It was not until 2018 that DuPage County finally elected a Democrat to serve as a Circuit Court judge - Judge Linda Davenport of Wheaton.
In 2020, DuPage voters have a historic opportunity to elect four Circuit Court judges. Six Democrats are vying for the chance to be one of the four Democratic judicial canidates on the ballot in November. How will you decide? Come meet the judicial candidates and make an informed decision!
Judge Davenport will discuss why judges matter. Judicial candidates (in alphabetical order) Jeff Jacobson, Azam Nizamuddin, Margaret "Peggy" O'Connell, Jill Otte, David Guy Stevens, and Alice Wilson will speak and answer audience questions.
This month we are collecting feminine hygiene products for students of D205. Schools are required by law to provide these products to students during the school day. These same students may return home after the school day or for the weekend with little or no supplies, putting them at risk of both health complications (toxic shock) and social isolation. All donations will be shared with Churchville Middle School counselors and YHS Empower.
